How can I get in touch?

You can drop by the church anytime Monday-Friday day time, or Sunday mornings. If you prefer to ring, our number is 01482 470125 or email [email protected].

What can I expect if I come to church on a Sunday?

If you’ve not been to church for a few years, then our church services might seem strange at first. Knowing what to expect can make this easier. Click here to read about what Sunday morning church services are like.

I don’t have a Christian faith, am I still welcome?

Yes, very much. We have people who count themselves as part of us from all sorts of different backgrounds and beliefs. Friends of the church who take part in church life and our community work include Sikhs, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists, as well as many people of no faith. Everyone is equal and most welcome.

How can I get involved and volunteer?

We have lots of opportunities for people to get involved, and feel a part of the community. Have a look at our ‘Church Life’ pages and ‘Community’ pages to see if there is anything you’d like to get involved with. If so, get in touch for a chat.

Do you have any jobs available?

At the present time we are not recruiting for new staff, but if that changes, then we’ll post it here on the web site.

Can I talk to a church minister?

Yes, if you’d like to talk to a church minister, you can drop into the church or give us a ring.  We’ll try and arrange for someone to see you quickly, and sometimes it’s even possible to see a church minister immediately, if we’re not busy elsewhere.

How can I be baptised?

We hold baptism services for adults and young people, so if you’d like to be baptised, let us know.  Our baptisms are held regularly in the main hall in the baptismal pool.

Do you have christenings for children?

In our church, we don’t hold christenings or baptisms for children, but we do have baby dedication services. This means that we pray for the baby and the family, and dedicate the child to God before the church. When your child is older, they can then make their own decision about faith. If you would like your baby to be dedicated in church, get in touch.

Can I be married in your church?

If you’d like to be married at our church, there are two ways of going about it. For couples who belong to the church, we can organise the marriage service, with music band, church minister, and registrar. If you’d not part of the church, but you’d still like to use the building to get married, then you can contact us to talk about room hire. We’ve had a number of couples who have hired the building for their marriage blessing and wedding reception.
